During this workshop, you will paint with resists onto silk pocket squares, followed by painting with dyes. This is a great way to get color and designs onto fabric fast and efficiently. Think of stained glass. You will be provided with two silk pocket squares. If you'd like to paint onto something else please make sure it is 100% silk. No experience necessary All levels welcome

Screen Printing on Fabric II: Printing with Dyes (Five Weeks)

Once you've honed your screen printing skills, try your hand at printing with dyes. This class focuses on the preparation of fabric and mixing of colors, with some new printing techniques. Printing with dyes allows color and image to soak into the fabric rather than rest on the surface, making it great for printing on silks or delicate, natural fibers. Prerequisite: First-Time Screen Printing on Fabric or similar experience
